The American Tour - Thanks!

Thanks to all who came out to see us, made friends with us, surfed / swam / drank with us and played with us on our US tour this summer. It was the greatest fun. Since then we’ve been busy in Nashville and London making our next record, which is currently being mixed ready for a March 2007 release.

Check the shows pages for details of a mini German tour, UK shows with the Brian Jonestown Massacre and our very own London show on November 9th.

Yes, we are down to the last copies of the tour CD, ‘It’s Art Dad’, a collection of Clientele recordings from 1991 - 1996. If you couldn’t get out to the shows but want to get your hands on a copy email us at

And don’t forget, there are t-shirts in many colours at the Pointy Records website.

See you in Germany! The Clientele

See you soon (ish)

Hello everyone. The Clientele have decided to have a bit of a rest for a while.

In the interim, Alasdair is playing, singing and writing in Amor de Días, whose debut album will be released on Merge in May. Mark has moved into a canal boat. Mel is still playing in The Volume Courbe, who are just finishing up an album, as well as Caned and Able

Hopefully we’ll be back with some more music before too long.
